A Selby boy trial for arson is backpedalling on his statement given to the police that the fire was an act of revenge. The now 15-year-old boy allegedly smashed some milk bottles in front of the home of a kid he got into a fight with. His enemy’s mother is disabled, and police aren’t taking this lightly. A few days later, it’s alleged that he came back, lit his French textbook on fire, and thrusted it through the letter slot of the home.
The alleged arsonist wasn’t alone, he was spotted with two other boys and underaged witnesses who never heard the phrase, “A kid who tells on another kid, is a dead kid.” They’re blabbing in court saying, the boy has a history of being a real prick, was bragging about lighting the fire in school, and corroborating the revenge plot.
