Hipsters Targeted by Jimmy Fallon

There’s been a backlash against “hipsters” since every media source decided to use the word to describe every living person under the age of 40 who doesn’t look like a College Football fan. NBC and Jimmy Fallon are betting that people are so through being cool, that a TV show lampooning hipsters will be a hit.

The proposed premise of the show being developed by Jimmy’s production company Deadline sounds as terrible as you’d expect. It’s centered on a nerdy academic who is studies Brooklyn hipsters. The good thing is that it will hopefully create a lot of consulting jobs, where “cool” people can tell the writers just what brands, bars, and bands to name drop on the unnamed show.
